Absolute zero refers to the scientific theory of the lowest possible temperature, where all movement on the molecular level stops entirely.
Scientific efforts thus far have been unable to create this theoretical temperature. In the continued effort to reach absolute zero, cryocoolers
and laser cooling techniques have both been used. At the supercooled near absolute zero temperatures reached so far, matter displays unusual behaviors
such as superconduction and superfluidity. Although the Third Law of Thermodynamics proclaims that no matter can ever reach absolute zero,
as molecules must vibrate on an atomic level, scientists are still trying to reach this impossible temperature.
The brooch/pendant was created using the ancient technique of granulation and modern technique of fold forming.
